Minoru Hotta’s studio is based in Tokyo, and for over twenty years I have been creating handmade rings for customers in Japan and around the world.
Every ring is made to order and carefully crafted to match the customer’s exact ring size. Before production begins, I take time to confirm the size accurately so that the finished ring fits comfortably and correctly.
To ensure that customers feel fully informed, I explain the details of the quotation clearly before the order is finalized. This allows you to confirm the cost with confidence and without any uncertainty.
I personally handle all stages of the work, including design, fabrication, and finishing. This approach allows me to maintain consistent quality and take responsibility for every step of the process.
Because each ring is made individually with attention to detail, the production period is approximately two months from the time your order is confirmed.

Hong Kong / Mainland China Customers
For customers residing in Hong Kong or mainland China, all orders are handled exclusively through Dawn Jewellery in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.
They carry a wide range of my sample rings so that customers can comfortably compare different widths, materials, and colour combinations before placing an order.

Ordering Process
1. Inquiry & Ring Size
If you are interested in placing an order, please feel free to contact me via the inquiry form or by sending a message on Instagram.
If there’s a particular ring you like, you are welcome to send me a screenshot of it—I’ll be happy to provide more details.
For the ring size, simply let me know your size in your country’s standard (e.g., US size, UK size, etc.), and I will take care of the rest with care and precision.
2. Design & Quotation
Once the design, material, width, and size are confirmed, I will prepare a formal quotation for you.
Payment can be made via international bank transfer or PayPal.
If paying by bank transfer
To help offset any transfer fees on your side,
USD 200 will be deducted from the quoted amount.
If paying by PayPal
All PayPal fees will be covered by Minoru Hotta, so there is no additional cost to you.

3. Order Confirmation
Once payment is received, your order will be officially confirmed, and I will begin creating your ring.
4. Production Time
Each ring is carefully handmade by me, one at a time.
The production period is approximately 2 months from the date of confirmation.
If you wish, I can share photos or videos of your ring being made on Instagram during the production process.
5. Shipping
Once your ring is completed, I will notify you and ship it via FedEx International Priority® at no additional cost.
Depending on the destination, delivery usually takes 1–3 business days.
To help minimize any customs duties or import taxes on your end, I will adjust the declared value on the shipping invoice as appropriately as possible.
Please note that tax policies vary by country and region.
Customs Duties and Import Taxes
Customs duties or import taxes may be charged by your country when receiving the ring.
The amount varies depending on each country’s customs regulations.
If you would like to check the approximate tax rate in advance, you may refer to your national customs website or use the duty calculators provided by international couriers such as FedEx or DHL.
